Writing.
Stories have always been part of the job.
From history and journalism to screenplays and fiction, writing has been a constant thread throughout my career. Different formats. Same motivation: people, places and the things that make them matter.

Book
Written by Conquerors
An impossible climb. A reflection that shouldn’t exist. And a story no one can control.
A genre-bending novel of magical realism, speculative satire and spiritual suspense. When a documentary crew captures an elderly woman performing a seemingly impossible climb in Sedona, filmmaker Cass is pulled into a viral mystery involving forgotten history, sacred myths, conspiracy theories and a reflection that shouldn’t exist. As the story escapes her control, the line between documenting the truth and creating it begins to disappear.
Book
The Laker History Book
Six centuries. One family. 764 pages.
A family history built from years of genealogical research, historical records, photographs and family stories. The book traces the Laker line back to the 1400s in the Duchy of Oldenburg, in present-day Germany, and follows generations of the family across centuries and continents. At 764 pages, it became part genealogy, part historical archive and part attempt to preserve the stories behind the names and dates.
Screenplay
Hosscats ’98
A junkyard. A dead conservation officer. And one very personal license plate.
A black comedy set in 1998 about junkyard employee Roy Nillcourt, who becomes obsessed with finding the owner of an “I Love Roy Nillcourt” license plate found on a car in the lot. Meanwhile, an odd-looking conservation officer investigates his colleague’s death, and Roy discovers his best friend has been secretly dating his sister.
